MEN Microblading is a popular procedure for enhancing eyebrows. It is also referred to as brow tattooing, permanent makeup, pigment embroidery, or 3-D eyebrow embroidery. This technique creates a natural-looking eyebrow tattoo with hair-like strokes. A fine needle is used to implant permanent pigment into the skin, mimicking real hair. The procedure requires minimal downtime, and in some cases, none at all. When performed correctly, the results are so realistic that it's hard to distinguish from real hair.

The only differences are the brow mapping and appointment time. The brow mapping is still formed using the golden ratio; however, men's eyebrows tend to be more extensive and not as neat as women's brows. Men tend to prefer a less groomed appearance. Men's eyebrows take slightly longer to apply due to the size difference. A man's brows aim to create a defined brow with no apparent gaps that don't look too over-groomed.

FOLLOW FOR ALL THE TATTOO PROCEDURES:

A follow-up appointment is necessary 4 to 6 weeks after the initial session. This will allow us to confirm the success of the procedure.
For optimal results, permanent makeup requires proper preparation. This includes avoiding picking, tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, sun exposure and facial treatments for two weeks before the procedure.
Do not workout on the day of the procedure nor should you have received botox three weeks prior.
Waxing and tinting eyebrows is also prohibited three days before the appointment.
Additionally, 24 - 48 hours prior to your tattoo do not consume alcohol or caffeine as they thin the blood and reduce color saturation post-procedure.
To best prepare your skin follow my routine: Absorb oil with blotting paper, Wash gently using a mild cleanser, and Moisturize daily with an SPF 30+ moisturizer.

✅ Avoid makeup, RETIN-A & GLYCOLIC acids on pigmented areas while healing.

✅ Avoid touching with fingers, sunscreens, direct sun, tanning beds & self-tanners on pigmented areas. Once healed, use a good sunscreen daily.

✅ Avoid swimming pools, oceans, hot tubs, saunas and hot steamy showers. Shower with back to shower head to avoid water, shampoo /conditioner getting into pigmented area.

✅ Avoid dirt (as in gardening), extreme perspiration (the gym) for the first week to prevent possible infection.

✅ Don’t be alarmed if pigment comes off onto Q-TIP when applying aftercare ointments.

✅ Don’t be alarmed by fading after first application. Final color can’t be judged until 2 weeks post procedure.

✅ Never use topical antibiotics unless given to you at time of your procedure, with specific instructions.

✅ If planning a chemical peel, MRI or other medical procedure, please notify technician you have iron-oxide cosmetic tattoo.

✅ If planning to have laser hair removal on upper lip or a Photo Facial using IPL, notify laser specialist of cosmetic tattoo so this area may be avoided by the laser. Both ablative and non ablative lasers may cause pigment to turn black.

✅ Additionally, 24 - 48 hours prior to your tattoo do not consume alcohol or caffeine as they thin the blood and reduce color saturation post-procedure. ✅ To donate blood, it’s a Red Cross policy to wait one year.

While Permanent Makeup looks impressive to most people, some individuals are not suitable for these Permanent Make-Up procedures. Please read the following permanent makeup contraindications carefully to evaluate if you are an eligible candidate.

INELIBLE WITHOUT EXCEPTION

Individuals under 18 years of age

We cannot Microblade anyone under 18 years of age, even with parental consent.

Women who are Pregnant & Lactating Women

As the body is going through hormonal changes, it is more prone to infections. Your skin may change and results can be unpredictable.

Individuals with Pacemaker or major heart problems

We use epinephrine, as a numbing agent, that can increase your heart rate possible causing dysrhythmias.

Individuals with viral infections and/or diseases

The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with compromised immune system.

Individuals with Lupus

The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with compromised immune system.

Individuals who suffer from Hemophilia

A medical condition in which the ability of the blood to clot is severely reduced, causing the sufferer to bleed severely from even a slight injury.

Individuals who have undergone Organ Transplant

The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with compromised immune system.

Individuals with any kind of skin condition on or near the treatment area

Eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis or any one of these skin conditions may compromise the surface and texture of the skin. Procedure performed on skin with these types of conditions may have sub par results.

Individuals who are allergic to metal and colour

We use small needles and pigments that can contain some metals and colorant, so allergy can be a show stopper.

Individuals who are Nicotine consumers

Cigarettes/Marijuana/Vape have countless pathogens in them that affect the tattoo removal healing process. Toxins like nicotine, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen cyanide have been shown to increase wound healing time.

Smokers may notice that their Permanent Cosmetics will fade faster. Also, pigment color may turn “ashy”.

Individuals who are prone to Epilepsy & Seizure attack

When getting a procedure done, there is a risk of Epilepsy or Seizure before, during or after.

Individuals prone to Keloids

Since permanent makeup punctures the skin, there is always a risk for people that are prone to keloids to heal with keloids scaring

Individuals who use Accutane

Accutane alters the skin and makes it thin, dry, and sensitive. It also weakens your immune system. For those reasons you'll need to one year after your Accutane treatment is completed and your skin is back to its normal state.

Note: In New Jersey, PERMANENT COSMETIC applications are taxable unless prescribed by a doctor in conjunction with reconstructive breast surgery.

We reserve the right to charge a 50% cancellation fee for any canceled booking and no-show booking without prior notice.
For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or change of appointment at least three days or 72 hours before your booking.
The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by lost revenue due to turning away other potential bookings.
Any bookings arriving 15 minutes late for the session will be subject to" NO SHOW" and would be charged for the scheduled procedure.
The rate comes with 6.625% NJ sales tax and a 2.9% card processing fee. If you decide to pay in cash, kindly let us know ahead of time.
Failure to finish your touch-up session within three months will forfeit your rights to have one, and you will need to pay an additional $300 fee. As we're also an Academy, our space given to you within the grace period of 90 days is reason enough to make time for your schedule regardless of the situation at home and work.

PRE-APPOINTMENT RESTRICTIONS

The following restrictions ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for a smooth procedure. Please read carefully:

4 weeks before your appointment:

Botox or other fillers
Chemical Peels
Laser treatments

7 days before your appointment:

DO NOT be exposed to heavy sunlight, especially sunburn. Your skin should not be in the process of healing before the procedure.
DO NOT pluck, wax, thread, or receive any hair removal services. It may result in triggering the skin healing process and should be avoided!
DO NOT use RETINOL/RETIN-A or other anti-aging/ acne creams
DO NOT apply any serum containing acid.

48 hours before your appointment:

DO NOT take any ANTI Inflammatory medicines like ADVIL, ALEVE, MOTRIN, ASPIRIN, EXCEDRIN, OR IBUPROFEN, IF medically necessary (Tylenol or Acetaminophen is a better option)
DO NOT take any OIL SUPPLEMENTS like FISH OIL, VITAMIN E OIL, PRIMROSE OIL, & OMEGA-3 OIL.
DO NOT take supplements with any MAGNESIM & NIACIN content.
For any Lip treatment, you must STOP USING VALTREX.
For any Lip treatment, keep your lips moisturized at all times before the appointment

24 hours before your appointment:

DO NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
DO NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine before the procedure.
